Concept Art & Character Design

Mitch Greer is a concept artist and worldbuilder who specializes in stylized fantasy and science fiction design. His work blends narrative depth with visual clarity, creating original mythologies through expressive characters, elemental cultures, and cohesive design languages. Every piece he creates begins with narrative intent and evolves into a symbolic, memorable presence.

Environmental Art

Our recent environmental hand drawn paintings represent the first forest scene in a larger work that the studio will be exploring in-depth over the next month through both analog and digital animation. The scene serves as an entry point into a richly detailed world—one where composition, atmosphere, and storytelling are actively being refined to establish a distinct visual language. This exploration will define key stylistic and technical elements, laying the foundation for a cohesive and immersive animated experience.

The studio is currently seeking select collaborations in concept design, storytelling, and worldbuilding across games, animation, and publishing. If you’re working on something visually compelling or narratively bold, please conact us at the link below.

Athena Character Sheet

Athena is a central figure in Memory of a Distant Fire, embodying resilience, intelligence, and tactical prowess in a post-apocalyptic sci-fi world. A former pilot and strategist, she navigates the remnants of a war-torn civilization, searching for meaning amid the ruins of lost technology and fractured societies. Her design reflects both narrative depth and visual intention—balancing function, emotion, and world context.

This type of character development—integrating storytelling, visual design, and world coherence—is part of the work we specialize in for clients seeking concept design and narrative worldbuilding across media.

Hand-Painted Concept Art

Hand-painted concept art remains one of the most efficient and expressive tools for world-building, allowing for rapid ideation without the constraints of 3D modeling. By working traditionally, we can explore texture, lighting, and composition with a level of artistic intuition that often surpasses digital shortcuts. While we are fluent in 3D and photographic texturing, as, as seen in much of our work, our commitment lies in preserving the hand-painted tradition of concept art. This approach not only enhances the organic and personal nature of our designs but also streamlines the creative process, offering a more immediate and emotionally resonant way to visualize science fiction and otherworldly environments.
