Elumetra
In the current climate of AI generated art, Elumetra is an intentionally analog and acoustic instrument series relying completely on human imagination and traditional materials. In this investigation, I found that without question at times digital technology is not needed for an entire ideation and worldbuilding project. After making this, we adjusted our portfolio to be all analog or handmade digital paintings. While we know the full suite of digital tools for making, at this point in time we felt it was necessary to provide a counterpoint to current trends within image generation. Machines can’t make this.

Esomnia
Esomnia was a two-day pop-up exhibition held in San Francisco from October 4–5, 2024, in a light-filled venue adjacent to the Cable Car Museum. The show featured immersive visual works accompanied by meditative ambient sound, creating a contemplative environment that emphasized sensory experience. While the installation was designed to be encountered in person, this record serves as a documentation of those ephemeral afternoons in early October.
