Elumetra

THrough chains

Elumetra is an analog exploration of a hypothetical future of humanity of slavery to machinery. It asks how long we are already on this path, and if our reliance on technology has become a slavery but not in name. As we explore AI, we wanted to think and look through these tensions, building techniques from Medieval Manuscripts and analog art.

For this exploration, no AI or computers were used at any point of the process of creation, from imagined forms to studied techniques, the series (which will be 12 in total) investigates and preserves the analog form. Made specifically for a gallery exhibition in the Fall, with music accompaniment. Stay tuned for details, Completed canvases below.
