Elumetra
Elumetra is a contemporary science fiction and expressionsist painting series examining the contemporary world’s relationship to the environment. It asks if we are currently sacrificing the Earth the same way we sacrificed Christ in antiquity. Across 15 canvases (possibly more) the state of industrialization, slavery, mystical fire and the dream of nature, create a dreamstate to ponder the uniqueness of our time.
For this exploration, no AI or computers were used at any point of the process of creation, from imagined forms to studied techniques, the series investigates and preserves the analog form. Made specifically for a gallery exhibition in the Fall, with music accompaniment,
